This was an interesting breakdown:
Basically, what size bass in your state would be the equivalent to a 10lb bass in one of the elite trophy lake states.
It’s always amazing how some anglers in one region do not understand that bass in other regions simply do not grow to 10lb class.
Honestly, in NJ, where I fish, to me anything over 5lbs is a quality catch.
I think this is even more important now especially since Florida strain bass and Northern strain bass are two separate species, and recognized by the IGFA as two separate records.
